What: "Coming Home- Doreen Taylor" Red Carpet, Celebrity Book/CD release party
When: Friday, February 26th, 2010 (7:00pm-11:00pm)
Where:"Trust"- 249 Arch Street Philadelphia, PA
Why: The "Invitation- Only" world launch of the ground breaking new book and CD "Coming Home" by internationally renowned performer, Doreen Taylor www.doreentaylormusic.com. The book and CD is a tribute to the WWII era and has recaptured the elegance of the pin-up girls and music from that era. A large percentage of the book/CD profits will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and 100% of all charitable donations from this star studded event will be donated directly to the cause. . www.specialops.org. There will be approximately 350 guests in attendance mixing in sports celebrities and current members from the various Philadelphia teams, several large named Hollywood celebrities, local and national politicians, local and national media figures. We expect representatives from numerous national and local television affiliates including, but not limited to, TMZ, FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. The theme of the event is the 1940's era and would like to maintain a sense of authenticity and class- like stepping back in time as soon as you enter. Doreen Taylor will be performing several selections from her CD live at the event and there will also be a silent auction and raffle taking place to benefit the incredible cause.
